I grew up near the North Sea in Germany, where weather, water, and open horizons shape daily life. Years later, I found that same quiet intensity in the forests and coastline of the Pacific Northwest.
Nordlicht Studio grew from that connection to place — a desire to create atmosphere that feels calm, grounded, and deeply tied to the natural world.

Candle Safety

At Nordlicht Studio, every candle is crafted for a clean, even burn — but a moment of light should always be handled with care.

Please follow these simple guidelines to keep your home safe and your candle burning beautifully:

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use.

Burn on a heat-safe, level surface, away from drafts and flammable materials.

Allow the melt pool to reach the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling.

Never leave a burning candle unattended or near pets or children.

Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains at the bottom.

Our vessels are reusable — simply clean them with warm water once the candle has cooled completely.
